Our integrated design approach earned Richard Group several Design-Build Contracting awards—and led to faster, more efficient outcomes for our customers.

We routinely contract and integrate A/E firms into our teams to exceed the expectations of our customers. Our design-build teams orchestrate all the moving pieces—environmental, civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, fire protection, and security engineers, along with landscape, interior design, and LEED designers—to reduce project risk and amplify results for our clients.

Our integrated project management staff conducts constructibility reviews during each design iteration, which lowers the overall project costs while maximizing consistency, sustainability, durability, functionality, and comfort. By simplifying the entire process, our teams take each project from inception through the warranty phase faster than the competition—and with unparalleled finesse.

Our projects move into the construction phase faster than our peers due to our our proprietary Richard Building Model (RBM).

Throughout the preconstruction phase, customers can expect straightforward, transparent communication and a quantifiable understanding of the critical path, field production, safety, and quality processes.

Our proactive approach to KPIs, analytics, and key health benchmarks allows both our project teams and our customers to see—and solve—potential challenges while ensuring every project gets off to a quick and cost-effective start.

Empowering our own self-performing team isn’t just about saving our customers’ time and money—it all comes down to quality and control of the final product. We invest heavily in our skilled labor workforce and the tools and equipment they need to get the job done right.

These high-performance teams operate locally, and all craft workers are located within the project area. We conduct all projects with crafts utilizing Davis Bacon – Prevailing Wage Standards or higher. Because at Richard Group, people are always our first priority.

The project may be complete, but our commitment to exceptional service never ends. Our team increases value throughout the entire building life-cycle, reducing overall energy and maintenance costs to ownership.

1. Preconstruction

We streamline and expedite the preconstruction process by proactively seeing and addressing potentially paralyzing problems— before they become setbacks.

2. Design & Construction

Once construction is complete, our warranty team will equip you with the training and documentation you need to maintain optimal performance.

3. Warranty & OEM

We operate as a services company to correct building deficiencies and increase awareness about the efficiency and maintainability of the building or structure.

Over 90% of our projects meet United States Green Building Council (USGBC) standards for Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED).

Part of “building bigger than buildings” is to constantly look for ways to negate energy waste, diminish carbon footprint, and reduce operational costs in our structures. That’s why LEED Accredited Professionals are impactful stewards of a cleaner planet.

We actively invest in the future and use technology to bring out the best in our people and our projects.

​​We utilize BIM, Earned Value Management (EVM), and virtual management software to monitor energy efficiency, space and project optimization, and provide real-time project management tools that communicate cost, timelines, and productivity. We also leverage newer technologies, including time-lapse videography, drone photography and scanning, and radar-penetrating surveying equipment to reduce the risk to adjacent buildings, equipment, and personnel.
